Star Wars Reads Day

Star Wars fans, assemble at the Library for Star Wars Reads Day on Saturday, Oct. 15, from 10:30AM to 3PM. The Round Rock Public Library is thrilled to once again be a host site for Star Wars Reads Day. Join in for activities including games, crafts, giveaways, a photo booth, Jedi Training Academy, and much more. Fans are encouraged to wear costumes or Star Wars clothes.
Play for Fall Fundraising Event

Play for All Park

Put on your costume and come join the fun at the Play for Fall Fundraising Event benefiting the Play for All Park Expansion. The Play for All Park will be BOOfully decorated with special Halloween decorations and fall attractions for all ages. Experience a Spooky Stroll off the Brushy Creek Trail. Trick or Treat in the Village Pod area of the park. Creep along the Cobweb Castle and enjoy Creepy Cartoons and our Pumpkin Patch Walk and more. The entire park will be decked out with surprise attractions at every turn!
Only 750 tickets will be sold for this exclusive event! All proceeds go directly to the Play for All Park Expansion. VIP Packages are also available for the first 10 donations of $150 or more. VIP Packages can be purchased at the PARD Main Office and are payable by cash or check made out to Play for All. VIP Packages include entry for 4 people with a meal, reserved dinner and movie seating, a fast pass for all activities, VIP parking, and tons of swag. This is a great event benefiting a great cause in our community, so we hope to see you there!
4th Annual Austoberfest

The Austin Saengerrunde will open its doors to the 4th Annual AustOberfest (Austin + Oktoberfest) celebrating Central Texas German heritage with German-style sausage, lots of bier, contest stage, bowling and live music. Tickets include unlimited German-style sausage and sides from some of Central Texas’ best meat purveyors. Last year included La BBQ, Miller’s, Freedmen’s, Stiles Switch, Louie Mueller, Southside Market, Meyers Elgin Sausage, Hoovers, School House Pub and Micklethwait Craft Meats. Five Texas German Bier tastings are also included along with live music, entertainment, and bowling!
Touch A Truck Round Rock

This all-ages event is a great way to see and experience a fire truck, big rig or bulldozer! Touch a Truck provides a great opportunity for children to learn about all types of vehicles, like public service, emergency, utility, and construction, and to climb aboard. Hosts will teach the children about the equipment displayed and how these machines help us and our community. Along with all of the vehicles, there will also be a Kids Fun Zone with various activities; food and beverage vendors will also be on site. There will be a “no horn hour” for those with sensitive ears from 11AM to 12PM For the safety of all, please leave the family pet at home. The event will be held near the Old Settlers Park.
Trunk or Treat for Children with Various Disabilities or Limitations

Join the Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department and Seton Williamson Pediatric Rehab for this FREE trick-or-treating event on Saturday, October 22, from 5:30PM to 7:30PM in the parking lot of Seton Medical Center Williamson. This family-centered event encourages active participation for children with various disabilities or limitations. Trick or Treat from car to car, trunk to trunk. Costumes are encouraged. Bring your trick or treat bags to collect some fun treats! Trunk or Treat is a new spin on Trick or Treating, where local businesses and organizations bring a vehicle, decorate trunk/tailgate and pass out candy as kids “Trunk or Treat” from car to car. Trunk or treating allows kids to have all the trick or treating fun without crossing streets or worrying about traffic. It’s also a great accessibility benefit for those individuals with various disabilities or limitations.
Dia de los Muertos Procession and Festival

Join the Williamson County Hispanic Heritage Committee, Round Rock Ballet Folklorico, City of Round Rock, Round Rock Arts and Univision for the fifth annual Dia de los Muertos procession and festival, from 1PM to 8PM Saturday, Oct. 29, at Centennial Plaza. Día de los Muertos is a traditional Mesoamerican holiday dedicated to the ancestors; it honors both death and the cycle of life. There will be crafts and activities for kids and art, craft and food vendors. Featured performers are Las Fenix.
Fall Fun Fest: Monsters and Mayhem!

Round Rock Parks and Recreation is hosting the annual Monsters and Mayhem Fall Fun Festival in Old Settlers Park. The Monster Mash themed festival will have lots of activities for preschoolers including carnival games, hayrides, snacks, story time and much more! This event is free, however we encourage you to bring a canned food donation for the Round Rock Serving Center!

Round Rock Market Days is a monthly event that features farmers market items, arts and crafts, home décor, food vendors, and live music all day in Centennial Plaza. This is a great opportunity to browse for holiday gifts. Shoppers can browse locally made items. Non-perishable food donations are also accepted for the Round Rock Serving Center. Kid and pet friendly! Free admission and free parking!
Holiday Bazaar Arts and Craft Show

The City of Round Rock’s Clay Madsen Recreation Center invites the community to the 14th Annual Rockin’ Around the Holidays Bazaar from 9AM to 4PM on Saturday, November 12. Admission is free, but please bring a canned food item or boxes of colorful Band-Aids for the Children’s hospital. A variety of vendors will be present, selling unique and handcrafted items to help you get ready for the holiday season.
The Holiday Bazaar is an opportunity for local and surrounding city exhibitors and crafters to sell and display their unique, hand-crafted and creative merchandise. This event is hosted by the Clay Madsen Recreation Center, Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department.
