Salado’s Wildflower Pub Crawl 2017

Lovers of Texas craft beers can enjoy an evening in charming Salado at the Wildflower Pub Crawl 2017. Participants will begin at the Salado Visitor’s Center (831 N. Main) to pick up the passport and cup and begin their tasting journey. Stops include Barrow Brewing Company, The Range at Barton House, Johnny’s Outback/Cantina, Alexander’s Distillary, Chupacabra Craft Beer and (premium stop) Salado Glassworks. Standard tickets are $19.95 each and include 5 stops. Premium tickets are $59.95 each and include all 5 stops PLUS a stop at Salado Glassworks and a limited edition, hand-blown Glassworks mug.

 

Mystery Night at the Library

The Friends of the Round Rock Public Library present “Death By Disco” Mystery Night 2017, March 31-April 2 and April 7-9. This is the 25th Mystery Night fundraiser held at the Round Rock Public Library and features food, fun and frivolity where the audience is encouraged to interact with the cast and play detective themselves!
About the Play: The year is 1976 and the one thing Texas needs is more disco. Follow the adventures of Round Rock’s self-proclaimed disco king and his not so silent partner as they try to make their dreams come true. Join a cast of characters that include incorrigible kids, busy body neighbors and a pair of practically famous foreign visitors as they find themselves grooving to the disco beat while trying to solve a mystery. It is a truly interactive audience participation mystery. Come dressed to impress in your 70s best for a chance to win fabulous prizes! This adult event may be suitable for ages 10 and up.

 

Run for the Park – 5k & Kid’s K

The Lion’s “Run for the Park” 5K & Kids’ K will benefit the Play for All Abilities Park Expansion. Brought to you by the Round Rock Lions Noon Club, all proceeds from the race will go to the City of Round Rock Parks & Recreations Department in order to help fund the planned park expansion. All ages welcome! The 5K run begins at 8AM followed by a Kids’ K at 9AM. Registration for the event is required and ends March 30. Cost is $30 for 5K and $15 for Kids’ K. Awards will be given to the overall Top 3 male and female participants; medals will be given to Top Master Winner (Male/Female) and Age Groups.

Mainstreet Productions hosts the Round Rock Market Days in Centennial Plaza! Bring the entire family to this monthly event featuring local artists that create traditional wares, jewelry, metal work, and more. This show also includes apparel, accessories, antiques, home decor, pet gifts and live music. Food vendors will be onsite with tasty treats and drinks. Shoppers can browse locally made items and find the perfect thing from home décor to gifts for others. Non-perishable food donations are also accepted for the Round Rock Serving Center. Parking and admission is free.

 

Play for All Special Needs Easter Egg Hunt

Seton Medical Center Williamson and Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department host the Play for All Special Needs Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 8. This is a family-centered event, focusing on active participation for children with various disabilities or limitations. Hunt for the eggs high and low; look for the golden eggs for special prizes! Special needs children and their siblings can participate in this hunt.

  • 9AM: Ages 5 and under with siblings of any age.
  • 9:45AM: Ages 5 and under with siblings of any age.
  • 10:30AM: Ages 6 and older with siblings of any age.
  • 11:15AM Ages 6 and older with siblings of any age.
