Outlaw Trail Cycling Tour 2015

The Outlaw Trail 100 bike tour is hosted each year by the Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department and features 10 mile, 25 mile, 40 mile, 50 mile, 63 mile, and 100 mile loop courses on county roads through historic Williamson County. Outlaw Trail isn’t competitive; it is an opportunity to join cyclists from across Texas for a ride across Williamson County. There are rest stops set up along the trail for cyclists to grab some snacks or a drink. Riders can ride at their own pace and rely on support at rest stops throughout their ride. Yoga on the Plaza

The City of Round Rock offers a free yoga class for all levels and will be held at 8 a.m. on the second Saturday of every month at Prete Main Street Plaza. Bring a towel or mat and a bottle of water and get ready to stretch!

Corner Store Country 5k Run

The Corner Store Country Run is a farm-themed 5K with a little something for everyone, from serious runners to leisurely strollers, from lone rangers to family herds. Folks are encouraged to dress in their finest country duds and stick around afterwards for what folks are calling the "best post-race ever" a country fair with free sponsor swag, live music, food, carnival games, face painting and two free beer tickets for adults. All proceeds benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters and local children's charities.

Austin Saengerrunde Presents 3RD Annual Austoberfest

Touch A Truck-Round Rock

This all-ages event is a great way to see and experience a fire truck, big rig or bulldozer! Touch a Truck provides a great opportunity for children to learn about all types of vehicles like public service, emergency, utility, and construction. Hosts will teach the children about the equipment displayed and how these machines help us and our community. Along with all of the vehicles, there will also be a Kids Fun Zone with various activities; food and beverage vendors will also be onsite. There will be a “no horn hour” for those with sensitive ears from 1 to 2 p.m. For the safety of all, please leave the family pet at home. The event will be held near the Old Settlers Park-East Entrance, 700 N. Redbud Lane (TC Oatts and Redbud Lane).

Fall Fun Fest: Monsters and Mayhem!

Round Rock Parks and Recreation is hosting the annual Monsters and Mayhem Fall Fun Festival in Old Settlers Park. The Monster Mash themed festival will have lots of activities for preschoolers including carnival games, hayrides, snacks, storytime and much more! Guests are encouraged to come in costume and bring a canned item for the Round Rock Serving Center.

Hometown Halloween

The Hometown Halloween celebration held in downtown Round Rock is a fun event for the entire family. The fun begins at 2:00 PM when restaurants and retails shops are open to trick-or-treaters. Locations participating include: Svante’s, Louisiana Longhorn Café, Breeze Salon and Spa, Sweet Love & Sugar Britches, Star Coffee, 3 Star Candy, The Rock Sports Bar, 121 on Main, MY Envy Salon, Quinns, and ClearView Networks LLC. Free Live music with be at Prete Main Street Plaza with Hey Lollies from 2:00 pm -3:00 pm and Urban Achievers from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Hay Rides start at 2 p.m. leaving City Hall (221 East Main Street) to the Trinity Senior Center (1000 Main Street).

Holiday Bazaar: 2015 Arts and Craft Show

The City of Round Rock’s Clay Madsen Recreation Center invites the community to the 13th Annual Rockin’ Around the Holidays Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 14, 2015.

A variety of vendors will be present selling unique and handcrafted items and live music will be scheduled at times throughout the day. Admission is free, but please bring a canned good donation for the Round Rock Serving Center. A shuttle service will be available from the nearby Randall’s parking lot.

Vendor Information

The Holiday Bazaar is an opportunity for local and surrounding city exhibitors and crafters to sell and display their unique, hand-crafted and creative merchandise. This event is hosted by the Clay Madsen Recreation Center, Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department. See the link above for more information about registering as a vendor.

Hike for Hunger

The local Police Department will team up with the US Army for this local food drive! Participants will hike two miles from the U.S. Army Round Rock Recruiting Center to the Round Rock Area Serving Center carrying rucksacks filled with food. The public is encouraged to join the hike alongside the men and women of the Police Department and U.S. Army. Donations of nonperishable food items are currently being collected until the start of the hike.
