Nervous Charlie's, a popular bagel shop in Austin, has opened their new location right in Cedar Park, Texas! Voted best bagel in Austin AND Texas, this local gem is certainly worth the visit. The shop, which is named after the owner Chris Cunningham's dog, is known for its fresh-baked bagels, cream cheeses, and "deliciously simple" sandwiches.
We recently had the opportunity to visit Nervous Charlie's during their soft opening in Cedar Park, and had a wonderful experience! Their everything bagel was amazing, and their roasted garlic & herb cream cheese made for a perfect combination.
In addition to their classic bagels and cream cheeses, Nervous Charlie's also offers a variety of other items such as breakfast and lunch bagel sandwiches, and coffee. If you're looking for a vegan cream cheese, don't worry, they offer that too!
Sit inside or enjoy the crisp weather outdoors as you enjoy a low-key breakfast or lunch any day of the week. Their Cedar Park location is also convenient and easily accessible with plenty of parking.
Chris and his wife, Ali, created Nervous Charlie's so the people of Austin could experience their love of New York-style bagels. Being originally from Long Island, Chris has fond childhood memories of going to the local bagel shop and enjoying an authentic New York bagel with his family. They've done us a favor by sharing their experience with our community and we hope you get to visit them soon!
