Working with leasing clients I have learned that while many face challenges pursuing the dream of home ownership, others simply do not consider it possible. Most of the latter cases have leased for a long time and have created the perception that owning is too far from within their reach and do not seek the advice of real estate professionals.
Owning a home offers great financial opportunities, from tax deductions to creating wealth. But, the most important impact for those that have never experienced it is the sense of belonging, community and family stability.
When I joined the Robert J Fischer Team I did not fully understand the meaning of the team’s tag line, Real Estate with a Servant’s Heart, or the impact that it would have on our clients. It was not until I started experiencing real estate as more than just a transaction that the joy of a Servant’s Heart would be really palpable.
My latest clients had been living with their mother for close to four years and saved enough for a lease deposit and fees. The process to find a lease had taken close to a year when I was contacted to help them. Like many other cases, ownership was not even considered until I brought up the possibility to them, based on their credit and financial history. After a brief consultation with our team’s lender, Carson Vaughn with Ameripro Funding, the good news arrived. As a servant of our community there is nothing more rewarding than seeing the happiness in my clients’ faces once the impossible dream becomes a possibility, and eventually a reality.
Jeff Daniels, Summer Trinidad and their three children will be moving to their beautiful house very soon, and will be able to offer to their current and future generations in our community a place they can call HOME.
